Protection

God provides His people with protection, like an eagle protecting her eaglets. First responders are faced with danger each and every shift. As they put on their uniform, they begin to feel the stress of the job and the weight of the world as they respond to the unknown. As they go to their first call, whether it’s a police officer to a fight, a firefighter to a house fire, a correctional officer to a fight in the yard, or a dispatcher listening to the cries for help, God provides protection by shielding us from danger. He covers us with His wings, and through faith, we trust that he will guide us and protect us from physical and spiritual threats. He provides us security as he watches over us, and through His divine protection and intervention, we take comfort in knowing that He is our refuge.
